Begin with G20 Digital Ministers Meeting in Dusseldorf, Germany, attended by our Minister of Communication and Information, Rudiantara, we will present the main report on “Indonesia Success Story in Developing Digital Economy”, considering in the forum, the Minister presented the proposal on how to handle inequality in wealth distribution that happened among G20 countries by taking advantage of digitalization that could bring back populist economic with innovative business model through economy sharing, financial inclusion and digitalization workforce to help reduce disparity in welfare distribution, in which Indonesia has the experience.
Another topic that we will raise in this ICT Magazine Edition No. 55-2017 is Ericsson who becomes a pioneer in 5G cellular technology in Indonesia. Also, we will review the enactment of Minister of Transportation Revised Regulation No. 32/2016 concerning app based transportation. It regulates several requirements that online taxi must comply starting April 1st, as an effort to harmonize conventional transportation and app based transportation.
